2021年3月船舶拍卖市场评述
3月,海外新冠疫情逐步得到控制,各国经济开始复苏,国际运输需求上扬,干散货运输市场迎来较为火爆的局面,沿海运输市场运价依旧高位波动,国内经济稳步向好,工业用电增长明显,对煤炭需求形成较强支撑,煤炭需求淡季不淡,市场看涨情绪较浓,船东信心提振,买船热情高涨。本月船舶船舶项目较上月大幅增加,总体来看,中国船舶拍卖市场累计拍卖78艘次,成交43艘次,成交率55.1%,起拍价累计约40565万人民币,成交额累计33772万人民币,船舶拍卖市场热度上涨,拍卖总量大幅上升。
一、沿海运价高位波动,船舶拍卖市场热度依旧
内外贸航运持续火爆,运价持续处于高位,二手散货船一船难求。根据拍船网(www.shipbid.net)统计数据,3月,中国船舶拍卖市场累计拍卖78艘次,环比增加28艘次,同比增加62艘次。其中,干散货类船舶拍卖19艘次,环比增加8艘次,液货类船舶拍卖1艘次,环比减少4艘次。成交率方面,本月累计成交43艘次,环比增加15艘次,成交率为55.1%,成交率环比基本持平。
拍卖成交金额环比同比均大幅增长。3月,中国船舶拍卖市场起拍价累计约40565万人民币,环比增加23494万人民币,同比增加28366万人民币;成交额累计33772万人民币,环比增加24082万人民币,同比增加27373万人民币。

二、干散货运输市场氛围火爆,液货运输市场总体企稳
国内外运输需求均处于上行通道,干散货运输市场火热,且煤炭、铁矿石等原材料价格持续处于高位,导致干散货运价进一步拉涨,中国北方港口受大雾影响,压港现象严重,船少货多的局面频现。液货运输市场表现则较为平静,由于国际原油价格剧烈波动,贸易商操作较为谨慎,市场货盘较少。
司法拍卖方面,本月拍卖船舶44艘次,成交18艘次,起拍价总额19736万元,成交总额12015万元;商业拍卖方面,本月拍卖船舶34艘次,成交25艘次,起拍价总额20829万元,成交总额21756万元。本月司法拍卖和商业拍卖项目均有明显增长,其中商业拍卖成交额环比增幅达224.7%。
重点船舶拍卖情况,干散货船舶方面,“sam wolf”5.7万吨国际散货船以7756.9万人民币成交,“tiger liaoning”18万吨国际散货船以2102万美元成交。油运船舶方面,本月油运船舶成交依旧偏少,“顺开69”油船以158万人民币成交。其他船型方面,挖泥、运泥船、拖轮等工程类船舶拍卖较多,本月累计成交13艘次,渔业用船和客滚类船舶累计成交8艘次。

in march, the spread of the covid-19 abroad is gradually under control, global economy begins to recover, and the increasing international transport demand gives the dry bulk shipping market a strong push. meanwhile, the domestic economy is steadily improving, and industrial power consumption has grown significantly, which provides strong support for coal demand. coal demand is strong in the slack season, and the freight rates in the domestic coastal transportation market are fluctuating at a high level. shipowners’ confidence is boosted and their enthusiasm of buying ships runs high. the number of ship auctions increased significantly compared with last month. overall, the ship auction market in china has seen a total of 78 auctions and 43 transactions, with a transaction rate of 55.1%. the total starting price was about ¥405.65m, while the total transaction price was ¥337.72m. the ship auction market is booming, and the total has risen sharply.
the costal freight rate fluctuates at a high level, and the ship auction market remains hot.
domestic and foreign shipping continues to be positive and freight rates remains high, so it is hard to buy second-hand bulk carriers. according to data from www.shipbid.net1, the total ship auctions of march are 78, which increase 28 mom and increase 62 yoy. among them, the bulk carrier auctions are 19, which increase 8 mom. the chemical & tanker auctions are 1, which decrease 4 mom. in terms of transaction, there are 43 ships sold, which increase 15 mom, with transaction rate of 55.1%, basically the same as last month.
in march, the price of ship auction has increased sharply both mom and yoy. the total starting price is approximately ¥405.65m, which increases ¥234.94m mom and ¥283.66m yoy. the total transaction price is ¥337.72m, which increases ¥240.82m mom and increases ¥273.73m yoy.

the dry bulk transportation market is booming, while the liquid cargo transportation market is generally stabilized.
domestic and foreign transport demand makes the dry bulk transportation market hot, and coal, iron ore and other raw materials prices remain a high level, which leads to a further increase in dry bulk freight prices. recently, northern chinese ports are affected by fog, port congestion is heavy which makes the capacity in short supply. the performance of the liquid cargo market is relatively calm, due to the drastic fluctuations in international oil price, traders are more cautious in their operations and take less activities.
in terms of judicial auction, there are 44 ships auctioned in march, of which 18 are sold. the total starting price is ¥197.36m, and the total transaction price is ¥120.15m. in terms of commercial auctions, there are 34 ships auctioned, of which 25 are sold. the total starting price is ¥208.29m, the total transaction price is ¥217.56m. there is a significant rise in both judicial and commercial auctions, among them the total transaction price of commercial auctions increases sharply by 224.7% mom.
followed are some specific auctions. in terms of bulk carriers, the 57,000dwt foreign registered bulk carrier “sam wolf” is sold at ¥77.569m. the 180,000dwt foreign registered bulk carrier “tiger liaoning” is sold at $21.02m. in terms of tankers, there are few transactions of tankers this month. tanker “shunkai 69” is sold at ¥1.58m. in terms of other ships, engineering ships are still popular with 13 ships sold, such as dredgers, mud barge and tugs. besides, there are 4 fishery ships and 4 ro-ro passenger ships sold in march.
